NATIONAL TITLE and ABSTRACT COMPANY purchased, in 2009, certain assets of the old National Title Insurance Company,* an historic Florida “Title Insurer” and “Title Company”.
Early last century, in 1926, A.W. Hoover moved from the north to the small southern resort town of Miami, Florida. He came to open the “NATIONAL TITLE” branch of “New York Title and Mortgage Company”, then the largest “Title Insurer” in the nation. Seven years later, in 1933, after successfully managing the Miami branch office of New York Title and Mortgage Company, A.W. Hoover bought the Miami branch, and formed the “NATIONAL TITLE” family of companies. For over eighty years the “NATIONAL TITLE” name has meant courteous, prompt and professional quality title services delivered by knowledgeable and friendly staff and management.
In 2009 The New NATIONAL TITLE and ABSTRACT COMPANY began and continues the tradition of the “NATIONAL TITLE” name. While the old National Title Insurance Company* has stopped writing insurance policies, The New NATIONAL TITLE and ABSTRACT COMPANY is providing many of the same high quality Title Services Floridians and customers from around the nation and around the world have come to expect for generations. We hope to carry on the tradition of the “NATIONAL TITLE” name for generations to come.
